In order to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, here are a few “tips” to assist you and make the most of your stay at Serenity in the Mountains Day Spa.
Our Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday and Tuesday, 9:00am to 7:00pm Wednesday through Saturday. If you will be arriving after our office closes or on Sunday, please call the office at (706) 258-2244 to obtain access information for your suite. If there is an emergency relating specifically to your suite, you may call (706) 455-0075.
You will find the following items in your suite upon your arrival (If applicable to package):
- Breakfast Items
- Wine & Cheese Tray
- Robes (to be worn only in the suite)
Individual Spa Itinerary: Please review your schedule for accuracy.
* Based upon availability, additional spa services may be added to your base package for additional cost.
* There are NO substitutions allowed to your base package.
We invite you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to check in, complete medical paperwork, obtain your spa locker keys, change in to your spa attire, and begin to relax in our lounge, steam rooms, or saunas. Please note that spa treatments begin and end at the time scheduled; therefore, no adjustments can be made for late arrivals. To ensure all guests at Serenity in the Mountains Day Spa receive their full treatment, all late arrivals will end at the scheduled time.
Your Personal Spa Experience
In order to better prepare, meet your personal needs, and make your serene spa experience exceptional, we invite you to discuss any of your preferences or special needs with our spa staff prior to your visit. For example, please let staff know if you are pregnant, have acrylic nails, etc.
To ensure your overall comfort, please feel free to communicate with your therapist in regards to room temperature, massage pressure, and service techniques.
To ensure our clients have the utmost tranquil spa experience, cell phones and similar electronic devices are not appropriate in any area of our spa. We request all spa guests to please silence all electronic devices and leave them in your suite.
Our Spa attendant will provide you with a spa locker; however, we ask that you please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to the spa. We are not able to assume responsibility for valuables that are lost or left at the spa.
Spa Facility use is complimentary for all spa guests the day of the appointment. Your spa perks include saunas, steam rooms, lockers, locker room, showers, changing rooms, amenities, and the relaxation lounge. For guests who are staying in the suites, the steam and sauna is available to you for the duration of your stay during our regular business hours.
Please be courteous of guests who have provided their own refreshments. These refreshments are reserved for that specific party only. You may help yourself to our complimentary refreshment bar located in the relaxation lounge area.
Spa treatments are available for guests age 16 and over. Facial treatments are available for guests age 12 and over. We request that Young Adults (under 17) be accompanied by a parent or adult during their spa services. A parent or adult will need to fill out consent form for underage clients. No Young Adults are allowed in our spa area without an adult present at all times. Minors under the age of 16 are not permitted in our relaxation area or locker room area.
Please call as far in advance as possible to ensure availability of any special requests you may have in regards to a specific service provider or additional spa services. Our spa reservations staff can help you with your serene spa experience.
Reschedule or Canceling Appointments
Because these services are reserved especially for your group, we ask groups of 4 or more to inform us 2 weeks in advance for any changes or cancellations. For groups of 4 or less, please let us know 48 hours in advance for changes or cancellations. If a client does not show up for an appointment and does not give us notice, the credit card number we have for the group will be charged for 50% of the missed appointment(s).
Serenity in the Mountains does not include gratuities on any spa services. We feel tipping is a personal decision based upon the satisfaction of services received; therefore tipping is completely at your discretion.
Based on our spa availability, we will do our very best to accommodate any special requests made. Please be sure to make your service provider preferences known when booking all your appointments.
Other Helpful Tips Regarding Services Only
- Massage: Undress only to your own comfort level.
- Facials: It is okay to arrive wearing makeup; however, we prefer no waterproof mascara.
- All Spa Treatments: For your comfort, refrain from any hair removal (including shaving, waxing, or laser removal) 24 hours in advance of any spa treatment. This will help to prevent any irritation from occurring.
Spa Lunch is included with our Signature Spa Package and Day Spa Package. However; if a spa lunch is not already a part of your package, you may add lunch for an additional charge of $15.00 extra per person.
*We will be discontinuing Spa Lunches as of December 24th, 2017.
Before leaving our spa, please take a minute to settle your account and return your locker key and shoes following your services. If you would like a receipt, please ask for one at that time.
* Please keep in mind, the office is closed on Sundays. All accounts should be paid in full by Saturday if you are departing on Sunday.
Upon departure, you may leave your keys with the front desk or if you are checking out on Sunday you may leave the keys in the birdhouse which is located directly outside of the door to the main office. Please be sure to turn off all the lights, heat and air conditioning, and close the door.
Before your departure, we invite you to visit our Spa Boutique. This is a wonderful way to take your spa experience home with you. We carry the same fabulous spa products used in our treatments and spa gift items are also available.
